Last Amsterdam Fashion Week i worked on 4 shows for the Maybelline make up team, and 3 shows in the Redken hair team. It's always great to see homegrown talent and i recommend you to check out Holland's finest talent Iris van Herpen, and Spijkers en Spijkers when they are showing this September at London Fashion Week. I worked for the latter doing hair back stage when Iris was preparing her show later that day and could not help myself being mesmerised with the shoes, loved the chains and wanted to take them home! Iris used to work with the late Alexander McQueen, and it showed. Her clothes are pieces of art and a true inspiration: love how she embraces new materials and 3D printing. Another name to keep an eye on is Hyen Yeu, his men's wear collection stood out by a mile, with some brilliant new faces, check out Bastiaan van Galen, Holland's new brooding Film Noir face.
